Tip for the day – drink lots of water!!
Since our body is built up of over 50% water it is important to keep hydrated. A lot of people will completely forget to drink water during the day or say they just don't like drinking it. So how can you get your daily water in?
*Keep a large glass by your desk if you work in an office and keep it filled daily – if it's near, you are more likely to drink it
*Need some flavour? Add some fruits and vege's! I love this one, I add in things like watermelon slices, raspberries, cucumber…. the list is endless. Keep changing it up and you will be more likely to want to drink it.
*Some people do well by needing to mark something down each day and seeing if you met your goal so keep track of your water each day. Use an app on your phone, a program on your computer (www.myfitnesspal.com is one of my favourites) or even just a regular pen and paper type of record. *Be careful with those products that say they are healthy. Check the amount of calories and sugar that they have in it (check back tomorrow for more on sugar) as sometimes its extremly high and it counteracts all the healthy benefits.
