So Many Things To Do

We say we never have time for things as we are so busy. It could be children, family members, hobbies, work, grocery shopping, maybe running a business that takes up all of the hours of our day.

I completely agree that some things need to come first like watching children and making sure that you can make enough money to live, but a lot of people forget about one major important thing if their lives.


HEALTH!

I see so many people with health issues as they get older and as a result they have to watch their diet, eat less salt, not consume certain foods or have more of others in order to avoid some serious problems further down the road.

But….what if you didn’t have to get to that point? What if you could do something small each day starting now to help you stay healthy, prevent illness and not have to take medications and deal with it later on in life?

Nutrition and exercise is something that is so important to everyone but people tend to put it on the back burner as it’s easy to ignore. I’m here to let you know that it’s important find time in your day to pay attention to. You don’t have to do a one hour workout and eat twigs and bark like some people think.

For me, my workouts range from 10 minutes to an hour a day and I drink Shakeology (about 3 minutes to make in the morning!) which is like a really yummy healthy milkshake!! Then I am conscious of what I put in my body the rest of the day. Do I still eat chips, chocolate, French fries, etc. of course I do! I just don’t eat them all the time as it doesn’t do much for your body. So whatever you choose to eat check to see if it adds nutrition to your body. And if you have a favourite meal that’s not the healthiest then look to eat it once a week as a cheat meal. You need to enjoy what you eat.


As for the workouts, find one that you really enjoy. There is one out there that you can fall in love with as there are so many to choose from. It could be running, cycling, a home workout DVD. My favourites right now are Chalean Extreme and Insanity – Asylum. But whichever is yours, do at least a few minutes each day to get your heart pumping and body going.
